I know Kareem was on his way to having a big year even though CB is a new position for him, in my mind he is built perfectly for it and it proved out in his first game there. D Barr #7 01/28/2010 11:34AM	I went up to the hospital and visited with Kareem yesterday. This dude is strong in his mind and soul! He WILL recover from this with hard work and time. Please keep him in your thoughts and try to donate what you can. In addition to donations make your best effort to go and spend some time with this young man. Money goes a long way but spending some time with him will help the healing process. Go and look him in the face and give him some love. He tells me he will be in there for another six weeks. During this time he could use some friends to make him laugh and get back to feeling normal again. He is our one of our football brothers and he needs us. Do what you can fellas and help our brother out! Think about it, if it was one of us in that lonely hospital we would want our friends there to help us work past it! Most of us drive past the hospital to get to the game field. Take some time and stop by! We love ya doggie keep fighting.

Please do the right thing and help make money the least of their concerns. My $200 isn't as much as I wish I could pay but let's all do more than $5 if we can. DONATION 01/25/2010 8:44AM	Gentelman, I wanted to ask everyone to contribute to this palyer and his Family. I personally just donated $100 and I have never met this young man. What I do know is that he has a family and played his ass off for his team and the love of the game and was struck with a very unfortunate injury. Now he has Huge medical bills and he needs everyones help. It does not matter if you know him or not, he is part of the CFL Famly and now needs your help. There are 300 players in this league if everyone can just donateatleast $5 it will go a very long way. We all have bills and things to take careof. There is not 1 person in this league that can't atleast afford $5. Make it happen! For those that have already, I'm sure this young man apprecites it. For those that keep saying you will, do it now. He needs your help, and you would want the same if it were you. Make the Donation whether you know him or not.
